Well, I’ve been remiss, but for a good reason! Been busy photographing some parties, doing some portrait work, etc. I will try to get some samples of those up here for you all to see soon-ish.

The City of Austin has a new skate park, and it’s a doozy… located at Shoal Creek and Lamar at House Park, the new skate park has a bunch of ramps, rails, and a full bowl for skaters and bikers alike to take some sweet jumps. I have a feeling when the word fully gets out at this place, it will be constantly packed. Best of all, it’s a new spot in town to take some kickin’ pics!

We followed Rodney and Mary’s journey from engagement to bridal portraits, and now I’m happy to say, the two of them got married. Taken at the massive Riverbend Church in Austin, TX (where Jessica Simpson apparently got married!), the two had a really nice ceremony, followed by a rockin’ reception at Steiner Ranch Steakhouse.

So, I’ve been busy. The latest “big” project has been photos for Austin artist-turned-NBC’s “The Voice” standout Nakia! I’ve taken photos at some of his shows before, but this has been different. We got together at Valhalla Tavern in downtown Austin for a more intimate, moody shoot for his website, as well as for KGSR’s page. You can visit his site at nakia.net, and the kgsr site here.
